The Sun Shrine is a 3D tower defense game inspired by Japanese folklore. Players can explore the village and interact with villagers, yokai, and tower statues. While villagers share fun facts about the yokai and towers, each statue also provides unique information about itself. Players must defend the shrine across different levels using towers, which can be upgraded in the village.

As the game programmer, I developed all visual effects – including weather system (rain, snow and fog) and tower attacks (Kitsune claw, Neko money and Jizo shockwave). I also implemented the level selection system, health bar, timer, wave mechanics, and tower selection hover effect. I handled most of the debugging and refinement based on feedback from lecturers and peers.
